The University of Tulsa has promoted Chris Wright, previously the director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, to assistant vice president of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Wright had served in his previous role since January 2023.
He is also an applied assistant professor in the Collins College of Business, teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in entrepreneurship, marketing, leadership, human resource management, and I/O psychology.
In addition to working for the University of Tulsa, he has also been the chief growth officer of management consultancy Arrowhead Consulting since January 2024.
He is also the founding investor of Medefy Health, a mobile platform to navigate healthcare benefits, and an adviser to a few startups.
Additionally, he is a venture adviser with Hurricane Ventures, the University of Tulsa’s investment fund, and local investor FortySix Venture Capital.
Wright has also served as a mentor with Techstars since 2022.
