The Polsky Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago has set up a venture development group to work with innovators on campus and in the local ecosystem and bolster startup formation.
Dev Gavaskar , previously the vice president of business development at low-carbon ethanol producer Synata, has been hired as the senior director for venture development.
