The IDEA Center, the University of Notre Dame‘s commercialisation office, has made Karen Deak its permanent executive director after she fulfilled the duties in an interim capacity for a year.
Deak’s interim appointment in September 2024 followed the departure of Kelley Rich, who had been the interim vice president and associate provost for innovation at the IDEA Center.
