The Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) is planning to establish a $100 million fund to drive commercialisation activities in the East African country.
The news was reported by local newspaper Business Daily Africa, which wrote that the fund is being developed in partnership with universities and corporates.
The move forms part of KeNIA’s 2023-27 strategy , and the new fund would complement the existing National Research Fund.
