Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) is promoting Michael Oakes to executive vice president for research and economic development, effective 1 January.
Oakes has been with the institution since July 2022, serving as its inaugural senior vice president for research and technology management. In that role, he has overseen technology transfer activities and the university’s research enterprise.
