Morven Fraser-Walther

The University of Glasgow has promoted Morven Fraser-Walther to head of IP and commercialisation.

Fraser-Walther was previously the IP and innovation manager, a role that already included responsibility for licensing and spinouts, from August 2020.

She joined the University of Glasgow in November 2019 as the programme coordinator for Aspect, a UK-wide initiative focused on spinouts emerging from the arts, humanities and social sciences.

Fraser-Walther is also part of the management team of the ARC Accelerator, which emerged out of Aspect to support social enterprises from universities and other research organisations.

Before the University of Glasgow, Fraser-Walther was a business engagement manager at Edinburgh Napier University from November 2018 to November 2019.

She also spent more than three years with intellectual property valuation firm Metis Partners from June 2015 to September 2018, most latterly as the senior manager of IP Sales in corporate recovery and restructuring.
