Nelson Pizarro has been appointed the assistant vice president for entrepreneurship and economic development at the University of the Virgin Islands.
Pizarro has been the Kiril Sokoloff distinguished professor of entrepreneurship and innovation at the Caribbean institution since October 2023, and will continue to serve in that role in addition to his new duties.
