Penn launches $10 million StartUP Fund

The University of Pennsylvania has launched a $10 million venture fund, called the StartUP Fund, that will make early-stage investments in spinouts.

The fund will be managed by the Office of the Chief Investment Officer, with the $10 million coming from the university. The vehicle has been structured as an evergreen fund.
