Quin Chang , who served as the director of enterprise development at La Trobe University, has become the chief operating officer of the federally funded research institute Care Economy CRC.
Chang joined La Trobe University in January 2022, having previously been a senior manager for research partnerships at RMIT University for two and a half years.
From September 2021 to May 2025, he was also chair of the professional body Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia.
Care Economy CRC was set up last year to bring together researchers, technologists, and care service providers to commercialise new technologies, models of care and data solutions in areas including aged care, disability services, health, family services, and social housing.
The institute also aims to deliver workforce education and development programmes.
