Sara Vandenwijngaert, previously a junior partner at multi-university venture fund Qbic, has been promoted to inaugural chief scientific director.
Qbic has €190 million under management across three early-stage funds that back spinouts originating from sixteen institutions, including the University of Ghent, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, the University of Hasselt, the University of Liège, and the University of Antwerp.
