Robert Langer, an institute professor at MIT who has founded more than 40 spinouts and holds more than 1,500 patents, has launched his own venture capital firm, T.Rx Capital, with an inaugural $77.5 million fund.
He co-founded the firm with his son, Michael Langer , healthcare entrepreneur and investor Corey McCann , and Kwesi Frimpong-Boateng , who was previously the senior director for corporate business development at Eli Lilly.
