It invests in early-stage spinouts, writing cheques from €50,000 to €200,000. The fund is backed by Prof Dr Falk Strascheg, who is also a founding partner of VC firm EXTOREL Private Equity Advisers.

GF BRYCK Ventures
GF BRYCK Ventures is an early-stage investment fund targeting spinouts from Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund, and the University of Duisburg-Essen. It invests €300,000 per company, targeting 10 to 20 investments per year. The fund builds on a partnership between BRYCK, a German innovation and startup hub, and the University Alliance Ruhr, comprising the three aforementioned universities, which began in 2023 to foster more startups and spinouts.
