Robert Gordon University has promoted Chris Moule to director of research, innovation and enterprise.
Moule has been with the university since 2010, when he joined as a business development manager. He was promoted to senior business development manager in 2015, before becoming head of commercial operations in 2017.
In August 2018, he became head of innovation and entrepreneurship and, since then, has led the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group, tasked with building an innovation ecosystem on campus and in the wider community.
The role also had him responsible for the RGU Startup Accelerator, the Aberdeen Innovation Mentor group, and bolstering entrepreneurship activities across the university.
“Having spent the last 16 years at RGU in a variety of business development, commercial and enterprise roles, I feel incredibly privileged to take on this new opportunity.
“This achievement is really a reflection of the many colleagues, mentors, partners and friends who have supported, challenged and encouraged me throughout my journey. I am genuinely grateful to have worked alongside so many talented and committed people over the years.”
