AgriNovus Indiana, a state-owned nonprofit supporting the agbioscience sector, has hired Tim Dixon , who previously held multiple positions with Purdue University.
Dixon is now the senior director of innovation at AgriNovus Indiana. He has been tasked with accelerating startup creation and entrepreneurial activities in the midwestern US state.
He will also build partnerships with industry, academia, governments, nonprofits, donors, and funders to bolster momentum growing around the local agbioscience economy.
Dixon joined Purdue University in October 2021 and served as both the senior director of entrepreneurship and managing director of Purdue Dial Ventures.
Earlier in his career, Dixon led multiple companies and worked for Fortune 500 companies in the US and Europe. He raised more than $300 million in venture capital and private equity investments for startups.
